If you intend to make a trip to the White
Desert, than just do it, don’t think too much about it, this
place with cliffs that look like monoliths, with the white rock
formation called by some locals “flower” or “warda” or
“mushroom” will not disappoint you. You can see how from the
Sahra al-Beida sand arises the white rock formations, offering a
view hard to forget. Sahra al-Beida is wonderful place in the
desert when you can camp and admire the rocks with various forms
that were created by the erosion of the wind. Let your
imagination play and see with what these forms look like an
animal, a man or anything else. And, of course, you can hide
yourself from the torrid sun at one of those formations shadows.
The photos that you will want to make there will not be just
few. The night in the White Desert is a splendor, with the
moonlight on the white sand making look like the snow. If you
have the luck of being in the desert in a night with full moon,
the view is even more amazing! You may have the chance of
meeting some desert foxes that make their appearance in the
night looking for some preys. You don't have to worry about it,
they are not dangerous at all. Before you start your trip to
this silence and unpolluted place be sure that you take with you
some proper clothes such as long t-shirts, sun glasses and
sneakers, something to cover your head from the sun. Have enough
water with you as well as some fruit juices which can be very
helpful when you will ne thirsty. Some cream for mosquito and a
flashlight are also indicated to be with you. |
