The White Desert is a place where you and
your love can spend a romantic holiday, the desert oases
offering you both moments of real joy. One of these romantic
trips may start in Egypt capital, Cairo, from where you can go
to Alamein which is situated at the 260 kilometers away. Here
the tourist attractions are the war memorial and the local
museum. At another 300 kilometers is the ancient Shalli village
not far away from the beautiful Siwa oasis. During the night you

continue your trip to the Siwa oasis with its Oracle's Temple,

kilometers and is a place with hot springs like Bir Wahid,
another romantic place for relaxing. This place is also perfect
for another camping under the sky. Next morning have as
destination the Baharyia oasis, with short visits of the Sitra,
Nawemisa and Bahrein oases. The magnificent Great Sand Sea is
also a place that you shouldn't miss. The Baharyia oasis has
nice hotels where you can stay overnight. The Black Desert,
Crystal Mountain and finally, the amazing White Desert are the
destinations for the next day of the trip. Camping in the White
Desert is the ideal solution. And what can be more romantic than
a dinner under the sky full of stars and with the moon's light
making the desert's white so magical? The next day is dedicated
to the Farafra oasis with its hot springs, then the Dakhla oasis
are on the list followed by the Kharga oasis with its museum and
Temple of Nadura. |
