The living corals of the Egypt’s
Red Sea are some of the world’s most beautiful corals. There are
about 1.000 species of living corals and many other species are
about to be identified. The living corals are very sensitive to
the long-term changes of climate such as the variations of
temperature at the surface of the sea. They also lose their
symbiotic algae where they are physiologically stressed; the
symbiotic algae are the one who gives the corals their colors
and nutrients. Without it, the coral become white and bleached
and if the bleaching is too long, the corals can die. The living
corals are stressed by the people’s snorkeling and diving.
That’s why some strategies of adaptation have been taken like
the raising of the people` s awareness, and some programs of
damages identification. One of the most popular coral reefs in
Egypt is the Coral Bay – Sharm el- Sheikh with a take breathing
beauty, very visited by Egyptians and by tourists from all over
the world. The Coral Bay Egypt also has a private beach with
waters that are home for wonderful living corals; the visitors
can see these amazing corals from underwater due to the Coast
Diving Centre which is situated at 10 meters from the private
beach. Beside the private beach, Coral Bay has pools of 1.496
square meters where the tourists can swim and relax under the
warm sun of Egypt. There are numerous activities that can be
practiced by those who come here like sports such as: tennis,
bike-riding, beach volley. The visitors also can choose the
water sports or the horse riding. Coral Bay with its living
corals is situated at 6 kilometers from the international
