One of the beautiful attractions in the desert of Egypt is the
Pyramid Mountain, a relief form that can be seen in the Black
Desert. If you will travel to this desert you will see how from
the desert's ground arise numerous rock mountains. Climbing on
of them (the mountains are a couple hundred feet) will assure
you the best view of the Black Desert and a feeling of being on
another planet. Black rocks, a light- brown ground, covered with
a black dust, immense rocks with crevices on them, basalt rocks,
are the “decorations” of the desert. The surface of
the ground is
dotted with hills that juts out from everywhere. This
captivating and fascinating view can be seen by anyone who will
have black Desert tour, a tour which can include a visit to the
wonderful Baharyia oasis, to the Oasis Museum, to the gardens
with palm trees and to the salt lake, to the English house, to
the Hot and Cold Springs and to the Bir El-Matar and Bir El-Ghaba.
From there, you have to travel trough the sand dunes to arrive
to the Pyramid Mountain. You can choose to travel with the
minivan or with the camels. There is a camel called Michael
Jackson who carries people to the pyramids. Who knows what
camels with famous name will bring you to the Pyramid Mountain!
You don't have to be scared by the camels, they are very
gentile, friendly and familiar with people and traveling on a
camel's back will be also a great desert experience. By
traveling to the Black Desert you will learn about the desert's
inhabitants` life, taste the specific food, find out about their
traditions and culture, talk to them and make beautiful pictures
